These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") are an agreement between you and MatterOne LLC, 9257 Culebra Road, Ste 101 PMB 1062, San Antonio, TX 78251, USA ("ThaItalian", "we", "us") governing your use of the ThaItalian mobile app and the thaitalian.app website (together, the "Services"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Services.
You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent where you live if that's older, to use ThaItalian. By using the Services you confirm you meet this requirement.
You'll need an account to save recipes. You're responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for anything that happens under your account. Tell us right away at support@thaitalian.app if you suspect unauthorized access. You can delete your account at any time — see our Privacy Policy for how.
ThaItalian reads a recipe from a web page, a social media post you share in, or a photo you provide, and turns it into a structured recipe saved to your personal library — with tools to plan meals, build a grocery list, scale servings, and (on Premium) cook hands-free with Cook Mode and see nutrition estimates.
Recipes you import remain the property of whoever created them. ThaItalian is a personal organization tool — when you point it at a page, post, or photo, we read that content and save a private, structured copy inside your own account, for your personal use. We don't publish, redistribute, or share your imported recipes with other users.
You're responsible for only importing content you have the right to save for your own personal use, and for respecting any restrictions the original creator has placed on their work.
If you're a creator and believe your content was imported in a way that infringes your rights, email support@thaitalian.app with details and we'll review it.
ThaItalian Premium unlocks unlimited imports, Cook Mode, and full nutrition info. Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store — the price and any trial terms are shown at the point of purchase. Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Manage or cancel anytime under your iPhone's Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple according to their own refund policies.
Please don't: reverse-engineer or scrape the Services; use the import feature to process content unrelated to recipes; upload unlawful, infringing, or abusive content; impersonate someone else; or try to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to our systems. We may suspend accounts that do.
Recipes you write from scratch, notes, and edits you make are yours. By saving them in ThaItalian, you give us the license we need to store, process, sync, and display that content back to you as part of providing the Services.
Calorie and macro estimates shown in the app are calculated from the ingredients in a recipe — imported or entered — and may be incomplete or inaccurate. They're not a substitute for professional dietary, medical, or allergy advice. Always double-check ingredients yourself, especially if you're cooking around an allergy or medical condition.
The ThaItalian app, its design, logo, and underlying code belong to us. Nothing in these Terms transfers any of that to you.
ThaItalian relies on third-party providers to work — for example Supabase for accounts and storage, OpenAI to help read imported pages, and Apple's App Store for payments. Their own terms may also apply to your use of the Services. See our Privacy Policy for more on how we use them.
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available." We don't guarantee they'll be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every imported recipe will be read perfectly.
To the maximum extent the law allows, ThaItalian isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services, and our total liability won't exceed what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You can stop using the Services and delete your account any time by emailing support@thaitalian.app.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we'll flag it in the app. Continuing to use the Services after a change means you accept the update.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
