📰 NEWS: ThaItalian is now on the App Store and Google Play
Thai + Italian, one kitchen

Save any recipe.
Cook it your way.

Share a reel, a link, or a photo of a cookbook page — ThaItalian reads the recipe, scales it to your table, and builds the grocery list. From pad thai to cacio e pepe.

How it works

Three steps from "saved for later" to "on the table."

No retyping ingredients off a screenshot. No fifteen tabs open. The app does the reading.

Ingredients, quantities, steps, and nutrition — pulled straight from the post, the page, or the photo. Nothing to retype.

Scale servings, flip Metric ⇄ US cups, check ingredients off as you shop, and cook hands-free with step-by-step Cook Mode.

The actual app

Not a mockup. This is what's on your phone.

Home, Explore, and Import — the same screens you'll be using, exactly as they look today.

What's inside

Built for a kitchen that cooks from both traditions.

AI recipe import

From a link, a social post, or a photo — the app reads it and structures the recipe for you.

Metric ⇄ US

Every ingredient converts both ways, however the source wrote it — grams, cups, pounds, tablespoons.

Meal planner

Drop recipes onto your week and see it all laid out, breakfast to dinner.

Grocery list

Built automatically from what's on your plan, organized by aisle.

Cook Mode

A hands-free, step-by-step view so you're never touching your phone with garlic hands.

💎 Premium

Make it healthier

One tap swaps in lighter versions of an ingredient and recalculates the macros.

The idea

Two food cultures that were never really that far apart.

Italy
Italy — Nonna's ragù, written down for the first time in 2019.
Thailand
Thailand — a street-cart tom yum recipe, filmed on a phone.

Basil, chili, garlic, and a slow-cooked sauce — a Thai grandmother and an Italian nonna would recognize a lot in each other's kitchens. ThaItalian started as a way to keep both traditions in one place, read straight off the videos and pages where they actually live.

Journal

Stories from both pantries.

Market crawls, queue notes, and the arguments we lost — the same travel journal that's built right into the app.

Questions

Good to know.

Which apps can I import from?+

Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, and Facebook via the native Share button — or paste a link from any recipe blog, or photograph a page from a physical cookbook.

Do I need Premium to use it?+

No — the free plan includes 5 AI imports a month plus the full planner and grocery list. Premium removes the import limit and unlocks hands-free Cook Mode and full nutrition info.

What if the AI gets an ingredient wrong?+

Every import lands on a review screen before it saves — nothing goes into your library without your OK, and every field stays fully editable.

What languages does it support?+

The app runs in English, Spanish, Italian, Thai, Japanese, French, Portuguese, and German — with an option to auto-translate imported recipes into your language too.

Is my data private?+

Yes — your recipes and account details are yours. We don't sell your data, and everything you save stays in your own library. See our Privacy Policy for the full details.
